Child Injured After Iranian Attack on Qatar, Says Ministry

A child was injured after an Iranian attack targeting Qatar on Sunday morning, according to Qatar's Ministry of Interior.

The ministry said the child was hurt by falling shrapnel during interception operations carried out in response to the attack. Officials confirmed that the child is receiving the necessary medical treatment.

Security and Civil Defence Teams Respond

Following the attack, Qatar's security authorities and Civil Defence teams activated their approved emergency response plans.

The Ministry of Interior said the relevant teams have started the required procedures to deal with the situation. Authorities continue to monitor developments across the country while working to protect public safety, maintain security, and ensure that essential services continue to operate normally.

Public Asked to Follow Official Information

The Ministry of Interior urged citizens and residents to rely only on official sources for updates related to the incident.

Officials also warned the public against sharing rumours, unverified information, or photos and videos that have not been confirmed by authorities. The ministry said that publishing or circulating false or unverified information could result in legal accountability.
