Dubai Ports Authority Offers Non-Stop Maritime Services

Post by : Bianca Haleem

The Dubai Ports Authority (DPA), part of the Ports, Customs and Free Zone Corporation, has confirmed its readiness to deliver comprehensive maritime services to vessels at Dubai's ports and anchorage areas around the clock.

DPA underscored that its 24/7 operations aim to facilitate smooth and efficient maritime activities. This commitment ensures that ship operators can access crucial services without delay, no matter the time or circumstances.

According to DPA, its sophisticated operational system supports a variety of maritime services including vessel bunkering, provision supplies, medical assistance, crew changes, and other vital operational needs—all delivered through efficient processes aimed at reducing turnaround times.

Captain Ibrahim Al Blooshi, the Executive Director of Dubai Ports Authority, noted that these initiatives reflect the Authority's commitment to enhance customer awareness regarding the availability of its services. He emphasized the proactive engagement of DPA with ship owners and operators to ensure timely and effective responses to their needs.

He added that the Authority is dedicated to providing flexible and adaptive services that cater to the dynamic demands of the global maritime industry. By linking vessels with accredited service providers, DPA guarantees quick and reliable access to quality operational support.

Furthermore, the Authority collaborates closely with service partners to ensure integration and readiness of resources, allowing for immediate action on vessel requests in all circumstances, while consistently meeting international standards.

In addition, DPA maintains clear communication channels between clients, relevant authorities, and service providers. Its Customer Service Center operates 24/7, ensuring rapid response and effective management of all service inquiries.

Captain Al Blooshi concluded by stating that the Authority's continuous services are crucial in bolstering supply chains and affirming Dubai's leading position in the global maritime and logistics sectors.
