His Highness Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, recently toured the seasonal art exhibitions at Louvre Abu Dhabi. These displays are crafted in partnership with renowned international entities, including France Muséums, Musée du Louvre (Paris), and Musée National Picasso-Paris.
During his visit, Sheikh Khaled encountered a remarkable array of artworks that underscore pivotal historical and cultural milestones. The exhibitions highlight the progression of applied arts, architecture, ornamentation, and calligraphy, alongside the evolution of modern art and various artistic styles throughout the ages.
The displayed pieces include loans from a diverse set of cultural institutions, both local and international, showcasing a variety of artistic traditions and practices across the globe. The exhibitions are designed to enrich the cultural fabric of the region while demonstrating the interplay of global artistic trends with the unique heritage of the Arab world.
These seasonal showcases are integral to Louvre Abu Dhabi’s vision of being a worldwide platform for artistic dialogue, fostering cultural exchange, openness, and mutual respect through the arts.
