The Dubai Airshow 2025 concluded with a remarkable achievement, recording over USD 202 billion in deals—twice the USD 101 billion made in 2023. This landmark signifies Dubai’s status as a pivotal hub in aviation and an influential player in shaping future aerospace and space technology.
During its five-day run, the 19th edition of the Airshow welcomed a staggering 248,788 visitors, including industry specialists, decision-makers, and global leaders, marking it as one of the most attended events ever.
A total of 1,500 exhibitors showcased their offerings this year, with 440 debuting at the event. The Airshow featured 490 military and civilian delegations from 115 nations, along with 21 national pavilions, 98 chalets, an expanded 8,000-square-metre exhibition area, and participation from 120 startups and 50 investors promoting innovative concepts.
One standout announcement came from Emirates, which placed a groundbreaking aircraft order valued at USD 41.4 billion, including 65 additional Boeing 777-9s and eight Airbus A350-900 jets, raising its total wide-body orders to 375 aircraft set for delivery by 2038.
Flydubai also made news by entering into a Memorandum of Understanding with Boeing for 75 Boeing 737 MAX aircraft, valued at USD 13 billion, which demonstrates Dubai’s long-term vision to foster growth in the aviation sector.
This year’s Airshow put a significant emphasis on space technology, featuring its largest-ever Space Pavilion in collaboration with the UAE Space Agency. The event also hosted a two-day Space Conference, uniting over 50 astronauts and experts to discuss future strides in commercial space ventures.
Sustainability was a crucial theme, with sustainable aviation fuel available for participating aircraft, and the exhibition halls operated entirely on renewable energy. Ground operations utilized electric and propane-powered equipment in collaboration with Jetex, underscoring Dubai’s dedication to eco-friendly aviation practices.
Team Dubai’s government entities ensured a seamless experience for visitors, demonstrating effective planning and coordination throughout the venue and its surroundings.
Under the theme “The Future is Here,” this year’s Airshow highlighted cutting-edge aviation and defense technologies, reaffirming Dubai’s role as a catalyst for innovation in global aerospace. The excitement is already building for the next edition set for November 2027.
