Dubai International Chamber, part of Dubai Chambers, has opened a new office in Toronto, Canada, to strengthen business ties and explore ways to increase trade and investment between Dubai and Canada.

The office was officially opened during a ceremony in Toronto, attended by Maninder Sidhu, Canada’s Minister of International Trade; Eng. Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansoori, Chairman of Dubai Chambers; Abdulrahman Al Neyadi, UAE Ambassador to Canada; and members of the Canadian business community.

This new office is Dubai Chamber’s first in North America and is part of the ‘Dubai Global’ plan, which aims to open 50 offices around the world by 2030. The office will help connect businesses, encourage investment, and boost trade between Dubai and Canada.

Al Mansoori said, “The opening of the Toronto office is an important step in strengthening economic ties between Dubai and Canada. It will provide a platform for businesses, facilitate investments, and create new opportunities for trade. We want to help Canadian businesses take advantage of Dubai’s strategic location and global connections.”

The relationship between Dubai and Canada has been growing, with non-oil trade exceeding AED10.2 billion last year. In 2024, over 4,100 Canadian companies were registered as active members of Dubai Chamber, showing an annual growth rate of 29%. This growth has continued into 2025, with 289 new Canadian companies joining the Dubai Chamber in the first quarter.

The Toronto office will offer support to Canadian companies looking to do business in Dubai. It will also help Dubai-based businesses enter the Canadian market by providing insights, identifying trade and investment opportunities, and connecting them with reliable local partners.
