In a bid to enhance economic partnership, Dubai Chambers convened with Li Xiangying, Chairperson of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Beijing Sub-council (CCPIT Beijing). This strategic meeting aimed to extend bilateral trade and foster investment between Dubai and China.
Present at the meeting was Mohammad Ali Rashed Lootah, President and CEO of Dubai Chambers. The discussions centered around fortifying collaboration in major sectors such as the digital economy, healthcare, science, and manufacturing.
Lootah noted China’s significant position as Dubai’s primary trading ally, asserting, “We are dedicated to enhancing our engagement with CCPIT Beijing to deepen ties and explore new opportunities, especially in the fields of digital economy and advanced manufacturing.”
This dialogue follows the MoU established between Dubai Chambers and CCPIT Beijing, signed during the Dubai Business Forum – China in August 2024. The memorandum is designed to bolster trade, create investment prospects, and assist CCPIT Beijing members in establishing themselves in Dubai.
This partnership reflects Dubai’s unwavering commitment to fostering international business relationships and reinforcing the emirate's position as a nucleus for trade, innovation, and investment.
