In a notable advancement for the social services sector, Dubai has officially welcomed 49 newly licensed professionals who have completed their oath of professionalism.

The event took place at Al Khawaneej Majlis, graced by Her Excellency Hessa bint Essa Buhumaid, Director General of the Community Development Authority (CDA). The oath signifies the professionals’ dedication to delivering ethical, responsible, and top-notch social services in line with international benchmarks.

This event underscores the CDA's ongoing commitment to nurturing a well-structured and skilled workforce in social work. The initiative aims to elevate expertise, boost efficiency, and tailor services to the diverse needs of community groups amid the current social and economic shifts.

During the ceremony, Hessa bint Essa Buhumaid articulated that this milestone is crucial for solidifying Dubai’s status as a leader in community development. She stressed the importance of training skilled professionals who can render comprehensive and influential services across all societal facets.

She further acknowledged that investing in the education and licensing of social professionals is vital in fostering social resilience and sustainable community growth. The CDA is dedicated to providing professionals with contemporary tools and insights to design innovative, preventive, and empowerment-focused solutions.

With this cohort, Dubai now boasts a total of 1,109 licensed social professionals since the inception of the program. The licensing framework encompasses 196 governmental bodies and 864 public sector entities, reflecting robust engagement from national talent.

This initiative is in alignment with the Dubai Social Agenda 33, aimed at enhancing citizens' and residents' wellbeing and quality of life. Through improved professional standards and governance, the CDA strengthens social stability, supports families, and promotes sustainable development within the emirate.
