Emirates has significantly improved Caribbean connectivity by launching an interline partnership with Bahamasair. This initiative enables travelers from Emirates’ expansive global network to access The Bahamas more conveniently.
Thanks to this collaboration, Emirates passengers journeying to Miami or Orlando can now enjoy direct connections to Bahamasair flights heading to Nassau/Paradise Island and Freeport on Grand Bahama Island. The arrangement streamlines travel with a single-ticket booking system and a cohesive baggage policy for both airlines.
This partnership builds upon a Memorandum of Understanding established in June between the two airlines. Emirates operates daily flights to Miami using its updated Boeing 777 aircraft across four classes, while it services Orlando five times each week on a three-class Boeing 777. Passengers from these Florida gateways can easily transition to Bahamasair’s Boeing 737 flights for direct access to the Caribbean.
Earlier this year, Emirates also entered into an MoU with the Bahamas Ministry of Foreign Affairs to collaboratively boost tourism. This latest agreement signifies another achievement in fortifying travel connections and facilitating access to the Caribbean for Emirates’ worldwide clientele.
By linking Emirates’ comprehensive international network with Bahamasair’s domestic services, travelers enjoy a more seamless route to one of the Caribbean’s premier destinations.
