Dubai — Global Village is set to become the heart of entertainment and culture this long weekend, celebrating the UAE National Day, also called Eid Al Etihad. While entry requires tickets, the park is teeming with free shows and attractions catering to everyone.
Fireworks and Drone Displays
From December 1 to 3, the skies above Global Village will dazzle with spectacular fireworks at 9pm, showcasing the UAE flag's colors. Additionally, a captivating UAE-themed drone show will complement the festivities on December 1 and 2, blending national pride with cutting-edge technology for audiences of all ages.
‘From the Desert to the Stars’ Performance
The Main Stage will host the theatrical operetta From the Desert to the Stars, which runs twice daily. This performance honors the UAE’s 54th National Day through storytelling, dance, and cultural displays that emphasize unity and heritage.

The UAE Pavilion invites visitors into an immersive cultural experience, featuring iconic Emirati symbols such as wind towers, golden coffee pots, camels, and a dhow boat. Visitors can:

Harbiya Dance Performances
On December 1 and 2, live Harbiya dance performances will captivate audiences at various locations from 5:45pm to 9:30pm, offering a true taste of Emirati performing arts.
Gardens of the World Attraction
The new Gardens of the World is a green, family-friendly space stretching from the Egypt Pavilion to the Iran Pavilion. It features exotic plants, iconic global landmarks, and peaceful paths perfect for relaxation and photography.
30 Seasons of Wonders Parade
Celebrating three decades of Global Village, the 30 Seasons of Wonders Parade features vibrant performances, stunning lights, and music. It runs three times a week (Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday) after Maghreb prayer, offering multiple daily performances that weave global storytelling with festive energy.
Laser Show at Dragon Lake
The revamped Dragon Lake, home to a Guinness World Record for the largest underwater display screen, now presents six spectacular laser shows with fire, animations, and mesmerizing effects that should not be missed.
Evening Light Experiences
The Light Show by the Main Stage combines LED and ambient lighting with music, creating a magical atmosphere perfect for families and friends every evening.
