The Evolve Future Mobility Show (EFMS 2025) in Sharjah brought together global experts to discuss the future of Electric Vehicles (EVs) and sustainable mobility. The summit, held at Expo Centre Sharjah and supported by the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI), featured several insightful sessions and panel discussions.
Experts from around the world shared their experiences and strategic insights on expanding e-mobility, developing EV infrastructure, and encouraging innovation in the electric transport industry. The event focused on real-world examples and best practices from leading EV charging companies and manufacturers.
Participants also discussed how the UAE’s strong, investor-friendly economy offers great opportunities for investment in the electric vehicle market. They emphasized that better cooperation between public and private sectors is essential to speed up the development of large-scale sustainable mobility projects.
Abdulaziz Shattaf, Commercial Director of Expo Centre Sharjah, said that the topics covered at the summit reflected the growing maturity of the EV industry. He noted that the sector has moved beyond its early stages and is now ready for strong investment and commercial expansion. Shattaf added that the show represents a clear vision for achieving sustainable and innovative growth in the region’s mobility sector.
Among the speakers, Adam Ridgway, CEO of One Moto, spoke about how car manufacturers are shaping the EV market and preparing for a future centered on zero-emission vehicles.
Another key session, titled “The Advanced Air Mobility Revolution”, was delivered by Barbara Lebar, MEA Representative at Manta Aircraft. She discussed how electric aerial vehicles will play a vital role in future transport systems, helping cities shift from road-based to air-based mobility solutions.
The show also featured a session on “Battery Manufacturing & Recycling – Paving the Way for a Circular Economy in the EV Industry,” led by Rizul Rai, Founder and CEO of Sircle Clean Energy Technologies. The session focused on how battery recycling can reduce environmental harm while creating new economic opportunities and improving global supply chain sustainability.
The Evolve Future Mobility Show 2025 concludes today, marking another step forward for the UAE in leading the transition toward a cleaner, smarter, and more sustainable transportation future.
