Turkmen Universities Commence Final State Examinations

Post by : Shakul

Higher education institutions across Turkmenistan have officially begun their final state examinations, signaling a crucial phase for countless students nearing the completion of the 2025–2026 academic year. These exams serve as the final assessment step before students transition into professional roles or advanced studies.

Among the first to kick off the examination period was Magtymguly Turkmen State University, a premier educational establishment in the nation. University officials recognized the examinations as a pivotal stage showcasing the knowledge, skills, and competencies students have accumulated throughout their academic careers.

To ensure that the process upholds transparency and fairness, the university has set up 21 State Examination Committees tasked with monitoring the exam procedures. These committees comprise experienced academics from the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan, researchers from specialized scientific bodies, officials from government ministries, and senior faculty from various higher education institutions nationwide.

Magtymguly Turkmen State University anticipates 1,879 students will graduate this academic year, encompassing specialists, bachelor’s degree seekers, and master’s students across over 30 fields of study. The examinations assess both theoretical knowledge and practical skills essential for their respective disciplines.

University representatives emphasized that the education received by graduates is closely tied to Turkmenistan’s long-term national development strategies, focusing on areas such as scientific growth, biotechnology, and the modernization of higher education while promoting natural sciences. The aim is to cultivate highly skilled professionals who can contribute significantly to the country's socio-economic development.

Officials highlighted that extensive investments in educational infrastructure and resources have fostered a productive learning environment and innovation. These enhancements have allowed students to engage in scientific projects, creative endeavors, and professional training throughout their studies.

As the final exams progress nationwide, education leaders are optimistic that this year’s graduates will effectively display their acquired knowledge and skills. They believe that the new generation of professionals from Turkmenistan’s universities will significantly contribute to national development objectives and enhance key industries, supporting the country’s future growth and modernization.
