The French government has officially conferred citizenship upon Hollywood icon George Clooney, alongside his wife Amal Clooney, a distinguished human rights attorney, and their twin children, Ella and Alexander. Amal Clooney acquired citizenship under her birth name, Amal Alamuddin, maintaining her pre-marital identity. The official document also cited George Clooney’s complete name, Timothy George Clooney, marking a significant step for the family, who have further established their roots in France since buying a rural estate in 2021.

Following their property purchase, George and Amal have designated France as their main residence.
