A devastating plane crash in North Carolina has resulted in the loss of seven lives, including former NASCAR driver Greg Biffle, his wife, and their two children.
The incident occurred on Thursday, December 19, 2025, shortly after the small business jet took flight.

Taking off from Statesville Airport, located just north of Charlotte, the plane ran into trouble shortly after takeoff and attempted to return.
