Post by : Mariam Al-Faris

The King Salman Global Academy for Arabic Language (KSGAAL) is taking part in the Riyadh International Book Fair 2025. The fair is being held from October 2 to October 11 at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University. The event is organized by the Literature, Publishing, and Translation Commission and is one of the most important cultural gatherings in the region.

Significance of the Participation

The Academy’s presence at the fair is not just symbolic. It highlights the importance of Arabic as a global language and reflects Saudi Arabia’s commitment to preserving and promoting its linguistic heritage. Through its active participation, KSGAAL continues to play a vital role in elevating the status of Arabic at both local and international levels.

Focus on Arabic Language Promotion

One of the main goals of KSGAAL is to strengthen the global recognition of Arabic. At the Riyadh International Book Fair, the Academy is showcasing its ongoing projects, including linguistic studies, research initiatives, and publishing activities. These efforts are designed to ensure that Arabic remains a strong and widely used language in education, science, literature, and digital spaces.

Showcasing Scientific Publishing

The Academy is also emphasizing its achievements in scientific publishing. Visitors to the Riyadh Book Fair are able to explore KSGAAL’s publications that focus on modern linguistic studies, Arabic grammar, and the role of the language in global communication. By doing so, the Academy provides valuable resources for students, researchers, and language enthusiasts.

Strengthening Cultural and Linguistic Content

KSGAAL’s participation is part of a wider effort to support the ecosystem of cultural and linguistic content. The Academy works closely with scholars, writers, and institutions to produce and distribute high-quality content that enriches Arabic literature and knowledge. At the fair, it is presenting various programs and projects that aim to promote Arabic both as a tool of communication and as a carrier of cultural identity.

Contribution to Saudi Vision 2030

The Academy’s activities align with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 goals, which emphasize culture, education, and knowledge sharing. By being present at one of the largest cultural events in the Arab world, KSGAAL is demonstrating its commitment to building bridges between Arabic and other global languages, while also encouraging cultural exchange.

Engaging with Visitors

During the event, the Academy is interacting directly with visitors, offering workshops, discussions, and exhibitions. These engagements help create awareness about the importance of Arabic in today’s interconnected world. The Academy also uses the platform to connect with international partners, further extending the global reach of the language.

Reinforcing a Global Role

Through this participation, KSGAAL reaffirms its position as a global institution dedicated to Arabic language development. Its role is not limited to Saudi Arabia; rather, it is an active contributor to international dialogue about language preservation, cultural diversity, and linguistic cooperation.

The King Salman Global Academy for Arabic Language’s presence at the Riyadh International Book Fair 2025 is a powerful reminder of the central role Arabic plays in culture, science, and communication. By highlighting its work in publishing, research, and content development, KSGAAL ensures that Arabic continues to thrive in the modern world while strengthening Saudi Arabia’s role as a cultural leader.
