Dubai, UAE – The Mohammed bin Rashid School of Government (MBRSG) has formally recognised 19 officials from the General Secretariat of the Supreme Legislation Committee (SLC) and the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority (DCAA) following completion of a targeted leadership course at MBRSG’s Convention Tower campus. The closing ceremony highlighted the emirate’s drive to strengthen public sector capacity.
Delivered between January and May 2025, the Leadership Development Programme comprised roughly 110 hours of instruction combining instructor-led sessions, self-paced e-learning, on-site visits and collaborative group assignments. Participants tackled real organisational challenges chosen from their own work environments.
The programme, developed under a joint effort by MBRSG, SLC and DCAA, seeks to advance a governance model guided by innovation and future readiness. Training modules focused on five priority areas: management excellence, institutional development, public policy, strategic planning and digital leadership, each tailored to contemporary government needs.
Practical application formed a core element of the syllabus, with learner teams producing applied projects intended to deliver measurable improvements within their institutions. A review panel assessed these projects to ensure they offered viable solutions.
Blending academic frameworks with executive practice, the course aimed to develop leaders equipped with foresight, adaptability and an understanding of digital transformation. The curriculum emphasised translating theory into operational outcomes.
The graduating cohort was presented as evidence of Dubai’s sustained investment in human capital, underscoring the view that building skills in public servants is essential to long-term organisational performance and regional leadership.
