Behind Closed Doors: Melania Trump’s New Documentary Unveiled

Post by : Meena Hassan

First Lady Melania Trump released the trailer for her Amazon documentary titled "Melania" on Wednesday. Directly engaging the audience, she succinctly encapsulates her husband Donald Trump's political resilience with the words: "Here we go again."

Scheduled for release in theaters and on Prime Video from January 30, the documentary focuses on the 20 days leading to President Trump’s second inauguration, detailing the planning, private meetings, and personal moments.

In the trailer, Melania is seen gracefully navigating the White House and her luxurious Florida residence, assisting her husband with his speeches. The footage captures her providing input on his addresses and sharing personal vignettes, such as placing a white flower at a gravesite.

This documentary aims to present an insider's view of Melania Trump's life, both in private and public spheres. Amazon promotes the film as offering "unprecedented access," featuring crucial meetings, travel experiences, and exclusive photo sessions.

Directed by Brett Ratner, this venture marks his significant return following sexual misconduct allegations made against him in 2017, which he has denied.

Reports suggest Amazon's licensing agreement for the documentary is around $40 million, with Melania reportedly taking home 70% of this sum, fueling discussion among viewers.

Overall, "Melania" offers an intimate perspective into the life of the First Lady, illuminating her relationship with her husband and the inner workings of political strategy.
