Muslim World League Launches New Digital Encyclopedia

Muslim World League Secretary-General Sheikh Dr. Mohammed Al-Issa has launched a new digital encyclopedia examining what the organization describes as scientific miracles in the Qur’an and Sunnah. The launch took place in Makkah during the opening of an international forum attended by scholars and specialists from across the Islamic world.

Encyclopedia Available in 10 Languages

The “Muslim World League Encyclopedia of Scientific Miracles in the Qur’an and Sunnah” is described by the organization as the first interactive digital scientific encyclopedia of its kind. It has been made available in 10 languages, allowing the material to reach a wider international audience and researchers interested in the relationship between religious texts and scientific research.

500 Peer-Reviewed Research Papers Included

According to the Muslim World League, the encyclopedia contains 500 peer-reviewed scientific research papers covering 7,500 pages across 15 volumes. The project is presented as a large digital research resource bringing together studies and reference material related to its subject.

Thousands of Images and Scientific Videos

The digital encyclopedia also includes 2,000 high-resolution scientific images and 2,000 short scientific videos. These multimedia resources are designed to make the large collection of research material more accessible through an interactive digital format.

4,000 Links to Scientific Resources

Another major feature is a collection of 4,000 links to scientific websites and peer-reviewed academic journals. The Muslim World League said the links provide users with access to additional research and scientific material related to the subjects covered by the encyclopedia.

International Forum Brings Scholars Together
