Strengthening Women's Empowerment: DWE and J.P. Morgan Collaborate

Post by : Bianca Haleem

In a significant move to enhance women's roles in the UAE workforce, Dubai Women Establishment (DWE) has forged a strategic partnership with J.P. Morgan aimed at empowering women through specialized development initiatives.

The partnership agreement was formalized in Dubai by DWE CEO Naeema Ahli together with Khaled Hobballah, Senior Country Officer for the Middle East and North Africa at J.P. Morgan. This collaborative effort seeks to create sustainable pathways to economic advancement for women, focusing on skills enhancement and professional growth.

The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) outlines a joint strategy for creating various initiatives that emphasize economic empowerment, leadership skills, career progression, and mentorship opportunities. Planned activities will include workshops, focused seminars, and networking occasions that foster connections among women from diverse sectors.

J.P. Morgan will lend its global knowledge to the collaboration, assisting with the design of training modules and orchestrating joint workshops and events. Furthermore, the bank offers mentorship opportunities for participants engaged in the development tracks established through this partnership.

This initiative complements DWE's mission to enhance women's roles in the national economy via strategic partnerships that provide substantial benefits. It aims to open new pathways for skill development, enabling Emirati women to incorporate international best practices and acquire hands-on guidance aligned with contemporary workplace needs.

With a shared commitment to broaden opportunities for women, this partnership signifies a crucial advancement in enhancing the UAE's talent landscape, ultimately supporting long-term economic development.
