The Sultanate of Oman has engaged in the 30th session of the Conference of the States Parties to the Chemical Weapons Convention at The Hague, Netherlands. This conference, which is scheduled to continue until 28 November 2025, assembles representatives from member nations and international bodies focused on chemical weapons regulation and global safety.

The delegation from Oman was led by Sheikh Abdullah Salim Al Harthy, the nation's Ambassador to the Netherlands and Permanent Representative to the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW). His participation emphasized Oman’s steadfast commitment to international collaboration and its proactive involvement in global initiatives aimed at eliminating chemical weapons.

During this session, Oman reiterated its commitment to fostering international peace and security. The nation expressed its full support for the Chemical Weapons Convention, underscoring the necessity of strict adherence to all its regulations.
