Abdulghaffar bin Abdulkarim Al Balushi, the Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to Brazil, officially presented his credentials to President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva at the Presidential Palace in Brasília. This ceremony formalized his role as Oman’s diplomatic representative and marked a step forward in strengthening bilateral relations between Oman and Brazil.
During the meeting, the ambassador conveyed warm greetings from His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik to President Lula da Silva. In return, President Lula da Silva asked Ambassador Al Balushi to convey his cordial greetings to His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik. He also expressed his best wishes for the welfare and development of the Omani people, highlighting Brazil’s interest in fostering closer diplomatic and economic cooperation with Oman.
