Dubai's dynamic commercial ecosystem is reaching further afield, as Italian solar equipment producer PEIMAR advances into Georgia and Armenia. Running its Middle East operations from Dubai, the company moved into these markets after participating in a trade mission organized by the Dubai Chamber of Commerce.
On the mission, PEIMAR clinched a notable contract to deliver photovoltaic (PV) modules for a commercial project in Tbilisi; the initial consignment has already been shipped to Georgia. The firm also concluded a cooperation pact with an Armenian solar business, underlining its regional growth plans.
The trade mission provided direct access to prospective partners through a programme of B2B meetings, where participants reviewed commercial prospects and operational details. Conversations covered logistics, tax matters and legal considerations, giving PEIMAR practical guidance for entering these markets.
Positioned as a distribution hub for the Middle East, Asia, Africa and CIS markets, PEIMAR intends to capitalise on Dubai's connectivity to broaden its presence. The company manufactures and supplies solar equipment such as photovoltaic modules, inverters, batteries and EV chargers, supported by in-house research, design and production capabilities.
This move complements the Dubai Chamber's ‘New Horizons’ initiative, which assists Dubai-based firms in exploring overseas markets by providing market insights, advisory support and partnership opportunities. The initiative aims to boost Dubai's foreign trade profile and foster sustainable private-sector expansion.
By entering Georgia and Armenia, PEIMAR opens new commercial channels and highlights Dubai's role as a base for innovation-led companies expanding internationally.
