Saudi Ambassador Presents Credentials to Jordan’s King Abdullah II

King Abdullah II of Jordan received Prince Mansour bin Khalid bin Farhan at Basman Palace today. Prince Mansour presented his credentials as the new Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Saudi Arabia to Jordan. During the ceremony, the ambassador conveyed the greetings and appreciation of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, and the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, Prince Mohammed bin Salman.

King Abdullah II asked the ambassador to deliver his greetings and appreciation back to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the Crown Prince. He also praised the strong and friendly ties between the two brotherly countries. The King expressed his hope that the ambassador would succeed in strengthening these exceptional relations across all areas.

The meeting highlighted the importance of diplomatic collaboration and the shared commitment of Saudi Arabia and Jordan to continue building trust and cooperation. Both countries aim to enhance strategic, economic, cultural, and political partnerships, reflecting decades of mutual support and understanding.

The ambassador’s role is seen as crucial in fostering dialogue and promoting cooperation at multiple levels. His presence in Jordan represents a continuation of Saudi Arabia’s efforts to maintain and expand positive relations with neighboring nations.

This ceremony is an important step in reinforcing regional diplomacy, showing the shared commitment of both nations to work together on key regional and international issues while supporting peace, stability, and development.

The appointment of Prince Mansour as ambassador reflects the strong diplomatic priorities of Saudi Arabia and Jordan, ensuring that ties between the two countries continue to grow, and that collaboration in areas like trade, culture, and education remains active and productive.
