Saudi Arabia has opened its pavilion at the 2025 Beijing International Book Fair, which started on Wednesday at the China National Convention and Exhibition Centre. The pavilion is organised by the Literature, Publishing, and Translation Commission and features contributions from various cultural and national organisations.

This five-day fair is part of the 2025 Saudi-Chinese Cultural Year, highlighting the strong friendship and ongoing cooperation between the two countries. It also aims to promote cultural and intellectual exchange between the people of Saudi Arabia and China.

The Saudi pavilion showcases several key cultural organisations, including the Literature, Publishing, and Translation Commission; King Salman Global Academy for Arabic Language; King Abdulaziz Public Library; King Fahd National Library; the Prince Muhammad bin Salman Award for Cultural Cooperation; the Translation Association; the Publishing Association; and Nashir publishing and distribution company. These groups work together to present Saudi culture to the world and enhance its international presence.

Throughout the event, the pavilion offers a wide range of cultural activities, including seminars and literary discussions. These programmes showcase Saudi Arabia's growing cultural and creative landscape and highlight the country’s efforts to develop content and support talent. The pavilion also provides visitors with a chance to learn about Saudi Arabia's progress in the book industry and its international initiatives.
