Two Drones Intercepted Near Riyadh
Coalition Forces spokesman Col. Turki Al-Maliki said two drones launched toward the Riyadh area were intercepted and destroyed at around 4 a.m. local time. The statement was made through social media, according to the report.
Two Ballistic Missiles Target Khamis Mushayt
Around 30 minutes later, Al-Maliki said coalition air defenses intercepted and destroyed a ballistic missile launched toward Khamis Mushayt. About 20 minutes after that, he announced that another missile heading toward the same city had also been intercepted.

Alerts Issued in Southwestern Saudi Arabia
Saudi Civil Defense had issued alerts for Khamis Mushayt and Abha in the Asir region overnight. No alert was reported for Riyadh in connection with the incident.

French President Emmanuel Macron also said France would provide military support to help protect Yanbu, a major Saudi port. He said the support would include personnel, radars and defense systems.
