The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, through the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA), took part in the AI Future Summit held in Tunis, the capital of Tunisia. This important event also included the 12th meeting of the Arab AI Working Group, which was organized by the League of Arab States. The gathering brought together experts, officials, and leaders from across the region to discuss how artificial intelligence can shape the future of Arab countries.

Saudi Arabia’s participation in this summit shows how the Kingdom continues to play a major role in both regional and international discussions related to technology. SDAIA, which is responsible for the country’s major projects and plans in artificial intelligence, represented the Kingdom and highlighted the progress being made in building advanced digital systems that support national development.

At the summit, SDAIA shared details about Saudi Arabia’s achievements in digital transformation. The authority explained how the country is working to create a strong and modern society that uses technology to improve learning, services, business, and daily life. These efforts support the Kingdom’s long-term goals and Vision 2030 strategy, which focuses on developing a sustainable and knowledge-based economy.

Saudi Arabia emphasized that artificial intelligence is not only a tool for improving technology but also a key driver for future growth. SDAIA presented several examples of initiatives that aim to expand the country’s capabilities in data, digital infrastructure, and smart solutions. These steps help Saudi Arabia stay competitive as the world moves quickly towards more advanced technologies.

The Arab AI Working Group’s 12th meeting provided an important platform for member states to share updates, exchange ideas, and explore new cooperation opportunities. Saudi Arabia’s presence in this meeting reflects its commitment to supporting joint Arab efforts in AI development. The Kingdom continues to push forward collaborations that help the region grow in innovation and keep pace with global changes.

During the summit, experts discussed how AI can help solve major challenges in areas such as education, health, security, and public services. Saudi Arabia shared its experience in using advanced data systems to improve government performance and provide better services to the public. The country has made significant progress in adopting smart solutions that make daily life easier and more efficient.

SDAIA also highlighted how the Kingdom is working to build a generation skilled in modern technologies. Programs focused on AI education and training are being expanded to help young people gain important digital skills. These efforts support the creation of a knowledge-based society where innovation plays a central role.

The summit further strengthened Saudi Arabia’s position as a leading country in the region in terms of innovation, digital growth, and technology leadership. By participating actively, the Kingdom demonstrated its determination to continue shaping the future of AI in the Arab world.

Saudi Arabia’s message at the event was clear: the Kingdom is ready to support regional cooperation, invest in promising technologies, and continue developing systems that help create a smart and modern society. Through SDAIA’s work, the Kingdom aims to lead the way in the field of future technologies, ensuring progress that benefits both the nation and the wider region.
