His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, has enacted an Emiri Decree endorsing the organisational structure of the Sharjah Archaeology Authority (SAA).
The decree sets forth a formal framework for the Authority's operations, with the Sharjah Executive Council tasked with issuing comprehensive decisions that detail the full organisational structure.
Included in these decisions are the definitions of job roles, responsibilities, and functions within the various departments of the Authority. The Council is also responsible for ensuring that job descriptions align with the objectives and competencies of the Authority.
Moreover, the decree empowers the creation, merging, or elimination of organisational units within the SAA as necessary, aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and supporting the Authority's mission.
This initiative demonstrates Sharjah’s ongoing commitment to reinforcing institutional frameworks and improving the management of its cultural and archaeological heritage.
