The 2025–2026 horse racing and equestrian season in the UAE is set to begin soon under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Presidential Court. The season is one of the country’s most important sporting events, showcasing the UAE’s equestrian heritage.
The season will include endurance races at the Emirates International Endurance Village in Al Wathba, Arabian horse beauty championships organized by the Emirates Arabian Horse Society (EAHS), and flat racing events at the Abu Dhabi Equestrian Club.
H.H. Sheikh Mansour said the season continues the UAE’s leading role in equestrian sports. He highlighted that the events celebrate the country’s cultural heritage, encourage competition, strengthen national identity, and connect young generations with their traditions. He added that horse sports also serve as a bridge for cultural exchange.
Sheikh Mansour’s support helps horse owners, stables, and youth participation. It also strengthens training, event management, and the UAE’s position as a global leader in equestrian sports.
The EAHS will hold several key beauty championships, starting with the EAHS National Arabian Horse Championship on 28–29 October 2025, followed by the UAE National Arabian Horse Championship from 31 October to 3 November, and the International Federation for Equestrian Sports (FEI) General Assembly from 10–13 November. Other events include the Arabian Breeders Show on 15–16 November and the Abu Dhabi International Arabian Horse Championship in February 2026.
The Emirates International Endurance Village will host endurance races such as the Union Day Cup (30 November 2025), Sheikha Fatima Ladies Endurance Cups, and the UAE President’s Emirates Cup (8 February 2026).
At the Abu Dhabi Equestrian Club, major speed races like the President’s Cup for Purebred Arabian Horses (6 December 2025) and the Abu Dhabi Gold Cup (14 February 2026) will attract top riders globally.
Officials, including Mohamed Ahmed Al Harbi (EAHS), Musallam Al Amri (Endurance Village), and Ali Al Shaiba (Abu Dhabi Equestrian Club), confirmed that all venues are ready with world-class facilities and professional teams. They praised Sheikh Mansour for his continued support, which ensures the success and sustainability of the UAE’s equestrian achievements.
The 2025–2026 season highlights the UAE’s position as a global hub for endurance, beauty, and flat horse racing, blending tradition with top-level sports professionalism.
