Sheikha Mahra, the daughter of Dubai’s ruler Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, is once again in the spotlight—this time for her rumored relationship with American-Moroccan rapper French Montana. The two were recently seen together during Paris Fashion Week, holding hands and attending exclusive events, which has led to growing speculation that the two might be romantically involved.

Although neither has publicly confirmed their relationship, their public appearances and social media hints are enough to keep fans and royal watchers talking.

Spotted Together in Paris

During the glamorous Paris Fashion Week, Sheikha Mahra and French Montana were seen attending shows and private events together. One of the standout moments that stirred online attention was a romantic picture shared by Mahra on her social media, showing two hands holding a “love lock” in front of the Eiffel Tower. For many, this image symbolized a deeper, emotional bond between the two.

The Eiffel Tower is globally known as a symbol of love, and this photo fueled further rumors that something meaningful was developing between the Dubai royal and the global rap artist.

Their Connection Isn’t New

This isn’t the first time Sheikha Mahra and French Montana have been seen together. They were previously linked in October 2024, just months after Mahra's divorce from Sheikh Mana Al Maktoum was finalized. At that time, their public appearances were more low-key, but now they seem more open about spending time together.

Observers say the two share not just chemistry but also an appreciation for culture, style, and philanthropy—traits both have displayed in recent years.

A Bold Divorce Announcement

Sheikha Mahra was previously married to Sheikh Mana Al Maktoum, a member of Dubai’s royal family. The two tied the knot in April 2023 and welcomed a daughter in June 2024. However, in July 2024, Mahra announced their divorce through a post on her social media.

What shocked many was the direct and confident tone she used in her message, where she said:

“Dear Husband, as you are occupied with other companions, I hereby declare our divorce. Take care, Your ex-wife.”

She ended the marriage using the Islamic "triple talaq" method, citing infidelity as the reason. The message received widespread attention for its honesty and courage, especially in a cultural setting where public discussions of royal personal lives are rare.

Launching a Brand After Divorce

Rather than stay silent, Sheikha Mahra used the end of her marriage as a moment of personal growth. She launched her own perfume line titled “Divorce” under her brand Mahra M1. The perfume was seen as a powerful symbol of reclaiming one’s identity and celebrating strength after heartbreak.

In interviews and appearances, Mahra has continued to champion women’s empowerment, local fashion designers, and independent business ventures. Her journey from royal wife to independent businesswoman has inspired many across the Gulf region and beyond.

Quality Time in Dubai

Even before their Paris appearance, Mahra and French Montana had been seen spending time together in Dubai. In late 2024, the pair were photographed enjoying themselves at a popular luxury resort, where they dined and relaxed by the sea.

They also went on a desert safari adventure together. French Montana embraced Emirati culture by dressing in traditional attire, including the kandura and gutra. He participated in local customs and appeared comfortable and respectful of the culture—a gesture that reportedly strengthened his connection with Mahra and her circle.

More Than Just a Rapper

French Montana, born Karim Kharbouch, is not only known for global hits like “Unforgettable” and “No Stylist” but also for his humanitarian work. He has supported healthcare and education efforts in North Africa, especially in his native Morocco and in Uganda.

His background as an immigrant and his dedication to giving back have earned him recognition far beyond the music world. It’s not surprising that someone like Mahra—who also believes in social causes—might feel a connection with him.

Public But Not Official

While they’ve been seen together multiple times, Sheikha Mahra and French Montana have not officially declared their relationship. Still, their actions speak louder than words. Social media posts, hand-holding in Paris, shared vacations—all hint at something more than friendship.

Sources close to the pair suggest that while they may be taking things slow publicly, they are indeed romantically involved. Given Mahra’s bold communication style, some expect that if or when things get serious, she might eventually confirm the relationship in her own way.

Reactions from the Public

Reactions have varied across social media. Many admire Mahra’s independence and confidence to move on after a public divorce. Some fans have praised her for embracing life, focusing on self-growth, and not being afraid to choose her happiness—even if it defies tradition.

Others, however, have questioned the match due to cultural differences. Still, in a world growing more global and open, many believe love knows no borders—and this relationship could be a reflection of that.

Blending Royalty and Celebrity Culture

If this relationship continues, it could represent a fascinating blend of royalty and international celebrity. Sheikha Mahra represents grace, education, and empowerment in the Arab world. French Montana represents global music success and philanthropy rooted in real-life struggle.

Together, they bridge different cultures and experiences, making them one of the most intriguing potential couples of the year.

What’s Next?

Only time will tell whether Sheikha Mahra and French Montana go public with their relationship. For now, their public outings, travel stories, and shared moments are enough to keep the public and media guessing.

One thing is clear—Sheikha Mahra continues to inspire as a modern royal who makes her own choices, supports causes she believes in, and embraces life on her terms.
