Delay in Mandhana-Muchhal Wedding Amid Health Concerns

Post by : Meena Hassan

Indian cricket sensation Smriti Mandhana (29) and composer Palaash Muchhal (30) were scheduled to marry on November 23; however, their much-anticipated wedding has been postponed indefinitely due to health issues impacting both families. Smriti's father was hospitalized initially, followed by the groom's illness, resulting in a delay of the nuptial festivities.

Following the announcement, social media erupted with speculation surrounding the couple's relationship, particularly after Smriti deleted most of her Instagram posts with Palaash, fueling rumors of potential troubles.

Compounding the mystery, the wedding planning team shared a vague message on social media, stating:

"In the game of Life, not every match ends at the finish line, but it’s the spirit of the sport that holds value. Our team gave it their all, and they deserve a mention! See you soon, Champion."

The post tagged various individuals involved in the wedding preparations, from stylists to choreographers, leading audiences to speculate about the wedding's future. Although there were rumors of a new date on December 7, Smriti's brother, Shravan Mandhana, confirmed that no date has yet been finalized.

Reactions on social media have been varied, with many fans rallying behind Smriti, applauding her strength during this difficult time, while others are puzzled by the ambiguous statement from the event team. Meanwhile, Palaash was seen at the Shri Hit Radha Keli Kunj Ashram in Vrindavan, potentially seeking spiritual peace, while Smriti has kept a low profile, avoiding media engagement.

As uncertainty lingers regarding their wedding plans, both continue to enjoy vast support from cricket enthusiasts and Palaash’s music fans.
