Frontier25 Partners with MOCCAE to Enhance Climate Strategies in UAE

Post by : Bianca Haleem

Abu Dhabi, UAE – In a significant stride toward achieving climate objectives, Frontier25, a climate advisory based in Abu Dhabi, has formed a strategic alliance with the UAE Ministry of Climate Change and Environment (MOCCAE). This partnership is set to merge expertise and resources effectively in the fight against climate change, stimulate innovation, and encourage sustainable economic growth nationwide.

The agreement was formalized in Abu Dhabi, marking an important collaboration between the public and private sectors. Frontier25 is poised to provide critical insights into the UAE's climate action ecosystem and will actively liaise with MOCCAE regarding policy updates, ongoing projects, and new opportunities within climate innovation.

Under this partnership, MOCCAE will serve as the primary knowledge and implementation partner, directing joint initiatives in line with the UAE’s ambitious climate goals. Both organizations will coordinate to showcase UAE-led initiatives and successes during international events, such as upcoming COP forums.

This collaboration underscores a heightened focus on harmonizing national strategies to fulfill the aspiration of achieving climate neutrality by 2050. Frontier25 is expected to deliver policy research, facilitate knowledge sharing, and offer capacity-building efforts aimed at reinforcing the integrity and effectiveness of the UAE's decarbonization frameworks. The initiative is designed to establish robust standards, increase transparency, and integrate global best practices, solidifying the UAE’s status as a leading regional center for the green economy.

Through this agreement, the UAE reaffirms its dedication to cultivating a comprehensive climate action framework, ensuring that the endeavors of both government and private sectors are synergized for a sustainable and resilient future.
