UAE and Jordan Send Strong Support to Palestinians in Gaza

Post by : Mariam Al-Faris

Ambassador Amjad Al Adaileh, Jordan’s Permanent Representative to the Arab League and Ambassador to Egypt, praised the United Arab Emirates for its major humanitarian role in supporting the Palestinian people. He said the UAE, under the leadership of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, has been working tirelessly to launch urgent relief initiatives for Gaza. These initiatives include sending hundreds of planes and ships loaded with food, medicine, and shelter materials. The UAE has also built a large field hospital inside Gaza and organized relief convoys through Jordanian territory. According to the ambassador, these actions show the UAE’s deep commitment to helping Palestinians in their time of greatest need.

Strong Historical Stance of the UAE Towards Palestine

Ambassador Al Adaileh highlighted that the UAE has always taken firm and supportive stances toward the Palestinian people. He noted that this support is not new but a continuation of a long history of solidarity and brotherhood. The UAE has always extended a helping hand during difficult times, proving its dedication through both words and actions. The ambassador stressed that the UAE’s role goes beyond simple statements; it is shown through continuous material and humanitarian support. This approach reflects the UAE’s keenness to stand with Palestinians and to ensure that they are not left alone during crises.

UAE and Jordan Working Hand in Hand

Al Adaileh also spoke about the strong cooperation between the UAE and Jordan in delivering aid to Gaza. He said that both countries are working together to use the Jordanian land bridge to transport trucks filled with humanitarian supplies. At the same time, they are carrying out airdrops to deliver urgent relief items directly to Gaza. Every day, dozens of trucks carrying food, medicine, and shelter materials cross through Jordan into the Strip. This joint effort shows the unity of Arab nations in responding to the crisis and helping Palestinians face extremely tough conditions.

Large-Scale Aid Through Land and Air Routes

The ambassador explained that aid operations are taking place through both land and air routes. Trucks loaded with essential supplies enter Gaza daily through Jordan, ensuring that food and medical aid reach those who need it most. In addition, air operations have been carried out to drop urgent supplies when land delivery becomes difficult. This two-way strategy demonstrates the determination of both UAE and Jordan to ensure that aid arrives on time, no matter the obstacles. Such a combined effort highlights the seriousness and urgency of their mission to save lives and provide relief.

Emirati and Jordanian Field Hospitals in Gaza

One of the most significant humanitarian contributions mentioned by Al Adaileh is the establishment of field hospitals by both the UAE and Jordan inside Gaza. These hospitals are fully equipped to provide medical care, treat the wounded, and support patients in need of urgent healthcare. The ambassador emphasized that these hospitals are not only treating minor illnesses but are also equipped for surgeries and emergency treatments. They provide essential care to Palestinians who have limited access to medical facilities due to the ongoing conflict and destruction in the region.

Medical Treatment in UAE and Jordan

The humanitarian role of the UAE and Jordan does not stop at Gaza’s borders. Al Adaileh mentioned that both countries are also receiving wounded Palestinians in their hospitals. Many injured people from Gaza are being transferred to hospitals in Jordan and the UAE for further treatment and rehabilitation. This reflects a deep level of care and commitment, as it goes beyond providing aid at the site of crisis and extends to welcoming patients into their own countries for advanced treatment. This type of support greatly helps families in Gaza who otherwise have no access to medical facilities.

A Brotherhood That Stands the Test of Time

The ambassador emphasized that the UAE and Jordan’s joint efforts show more than humanitarian aid—they demonstrate the strong brotherly relationship shared among Arab nations. He said that the two countries are proving, through their actions, that they will never abandon the Palestinian people. For decades, Palestinians have faced difficulties, but Arab nations like the UAE and Jordan have remained by their side. This spirit of solidarity is not temporary; it is an ongoing commitment that reflects unity, shared values, and a belief in justice for Palestinians.

Tangible Actions Prove Real Commitment

At the end of his remarks, Al Adaileh made it clear that tangible actions, such as sending aid, building hospitals, and carrying out daily relief efforts, are the strongest evidence of real commitment. He stressed that while words of support are important, what Palestinians need most is real help on the ground. The UAE and Jordan are showing that their support is not symbolic—it is practical, direct, and visible. These actions prove that Arab countries can make a real difference when they work together.

Arab Unity in Supporting Palestine

The ambassador’s statement also reflected a larger message about Arab unity. He pointed out that when Arab countries cooperate, they can achieve powerful results. The joint efforts of the UAE and Jordan in helping Gaza serve as an example for others. This kind of unity not only brings relief to Palestinians but also strengthens the Arab world’s collective voice in international matters. It shows that shared responsibility and solidarity can bring real change and help those most in need.

A Lifeline of Hope for Gaza

Ambassador Al Adaileh’s words highlight the major role played by the UAE and Jordan in providing a lifeline of hope for the Palestinian people. Their actions—sending trucks, air-dropping supplies, building hospitals, and treating the wounded—are more than just humanitarian steps; they are proof of deep brotherhood and unwavering support. Palestinians, facing daily hardships, see in these efforts a sign that they are not forgotten. The UAE and Jordan, through their combined humanitarian missions, continue to remind the world of the importance of unity, compassion, and responsibility in the face of human suffering.
