UAE Expresses Deep Solidarity with Kenya After Deadly Landslides

Post by : Raina Al-Fahim

The United Arab Emirates has extended its heartfelt condolences and expressed deep solidarity with the Republic of Kenya following the devastating landslides caused by days of heavy rainfall in the country’s western region. The disaster has resulted in multiple fatalities and severe damage to homes and communities.

In an official statement, the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs conveyed its sincere sympathy to the families who lost loved ones and extended condolences to the Kenyan government and people during this time of grief.

Reaffirming the UAE’s commitment to humanitarian values, the ministry emphasized the nation’s readiness to support Kenya in addressing the aftermath of the tragedy. The UAE highlighted the strong bonds of friendship and cooperation that unite both nations, particularly in times of crisis.

According to Kenyan authorities, continuous torrential rains have triggered a series of landslides in mountainous regions, leaving widespread destruction and displacing hundreds of residents. Emergency teams continue rescue and relief operations under challenging weather conditions.

The UAE’s message of compassion underscores its consistent global stance on providing humanitarian assistance and standing with nations facing natural calamities.
