The UAE Embassy in Beijing launched a cultural event called “Al Bait Al Emarati” at the Mutianyu section of the Great Wall of China. This event is part of the activities of the Huairou Great Wall Marathon and the Zayed Charity Run 2025.
The event is taking place for the first time in Beijing, attracting runners, enthusiasts, and visitors from around the world.
Showcasing Emirati Heritage
“Al Bait Al Emarati” gives visitors a close look at Emirati culture, art, and traditions. Guests enjoyed live folk performances, including Al Ayyala, a traditional Emirati dance.
Visitors also saw artisans demonstrating handicrafts such as Al Sadu weaving, Al Talli embroidery, and palm-frond weaving. These displays highlighted the rich heritage and traditional skills of the UAE.
Traditional Hospitality And Cuisine
The pavilion offered visitors a taste of traditional Emirati hospitality and cuisine. Guests experienced the warmth of Arab culture, enjoying food and welcoming interactions that reflected the UAE’s rich cultural traditions.

The event was organized by the UAE Embassy in Beijing in partnership with the marathon. It aims to highlight the cultural side of the UAE while connecting with the international sports community.
