His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has mandated nationwide festivities in January 2026 to celebrate the long-standing relationship between the UAE and Kuwait. The events will kick off on January 29, 2026, continuing for an entire week, representing the strong connections between both nations and their citizens.

This initiative underscores the historical ties and common principles that have linked the UAE and Kuwait for many years. His Highness characterized the relationship as one of brotherhood, warmth, and profound respect, acknowledging Kuwait's support pre- and post-Union formation, and commending its continuous generosity.

Sheikh Mohamed remarked on Kuwait’s solidarity with the UAE as a true testament of friendship, which reflects the ongoing bonds between the countries. The festivities will celebrate not just historical ties but also commend Kuwait’s leadership and citizens, reinforcing cooperation and mutual respect.
