UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan received a phone call from Evika Siliņa, Prime Minister of Latvia, during which both leaders discussed the recent Iranian attacks targeting the United Arab Emirates and other countries in the region.
Prime Minister Siliņa strongly condemned what she described as blatant Iranian attacks. She expressed Latvia’s full solidarity with the UAE, stating that such actions represent a serious violation of the country’s sovereignty and pose a direct threat to regional security and stability.
Sheikh Mohamed thanked the Latvian Prime Minister for her supportive position and appreciated Latvia’s clear stance in backing the UAE during the current situation.
During the call, both leaders stressed the urgent need to immediately stop military actions. They emphasized the importance of returning to political dialogue and diplomatic solutions to prevent further escalation that could endanger both regional and global security.
The discussion reflects continued international concern over rising tensions in the region and highlights the shared commitment of the UAE and Latvia to peace and stability.
