UAE Officials Congratulate Morocco on Arab Cup 2025 Victory

UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan spearheaded a series of congratulatory messages to King Mohammed VI of Morocco after the Moroccan national team clinched the FIFA Arab Cup 2025 title in Qatar on Thursday. This victory marked a significant achievement for Moroccan football, culminating in an eagerly awaited final against Jordan.

In a message shared via social media platform X, Sheikh Mohamed praised the outstanding performance of the Moroccan team and acknowledged the Jordanian squad for their perseverance throughout the tournament. He remarked that both teams showcased their abilities with "excellence and pride," highlighting the remarkable talent and sporting spirit within the region.

The President also took time to appreciate Qatar’s effective hosting of the event, commending the country's organizational skills and its role in providing a vibrant atmosphere for both teams and fans.

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, likewise extended his congratulations. He described the final match as “distinguished,” mirroring the high standards and competitive intensity displayed during the event.

Moreover, His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Presidential Court, expressed his admiration for Morocco’s victory while also acknowledging Jordan’s impressive journey. He commended the “honourable performance and competitive spirit” exhibited by both teams during the final.

His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of Defence, joined in celebrating Morocco's championship success. He lauded the champions for their efforts and expressed gratitude to Qatar for its exceptional organization and hosting throughout the tournament.

Morocco’s win bolsters its stature in regional football, while Jordan earned recognition for its determined run to the final. The championship concluded on a celebratory note, symbolizing unity and sportsmanship as leaders and fans across the Arab world acknowledged the accomplishments of both teams and their hosts.
