Abu Dhabi: The United Arab Emirates has expressed solidarity with Afghanistan after a 6.3-magnitude earthquake hit Mazar-e Sharif in the north, killing at least 20 people and wounding hundreds.
In an official release, the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs offered condolences to victims' families and to the Afghan people, and wished those injured a swift recovery.
