The UAE riders achieved remarkable success at the FEI Regional Group VII Final for age categories, which finished yesterday in Doha, Qatar. They won two individual gold medals in the children’s and juniors’ competitions and added a bronze medal in the young riders’ show jumping event. This is another major addition to the UAE’s growing record of achievements in equestrian sports.

In addition to individual achievements, the UAE riders also secured team gold medals in both the young riders’ and juniors’ categories. Their outstanding technical performances throughout the event impressed the judges and demonstrated their ability to compete against strong teams from other nations. The combination of individual and team victories highlights the UAE’s growing dominance in equestrian sports across the Middle East.

Abdullah Al Karbi won first place in the juniors’ category, while Saif Al Karbi finished sixth in the same division. In the children’s competitions, Khalid Al Mehairi secured first place, showing great skill and precision. Mohammed Al Ghurair won the bronze medal in the young riders’ category. Other notable performances included Mabkhout Al Karbi finishing fourth and Alia Al Mehairi coming in fifth, demonstrating consistent talent across the team.

Dr. Ghanem Mohammed Al Hajri, Secretary-General of the UAE Equestrian and Racing Federation, praised the riders for their achievements during the Eid Al Etihad celebrations. He highlighted that the UAE riders’ successes further strengthen the nation’s reputation in global equestrian sports. According to Dr. Al Hajri, their talent, dedication, and strong capabilities reflect the country’s leadership in equestrian competitions worldwide.

The FEI Regional Group VII hosts an annual series of equestrian competitions for children, juniors, and young riders in the Middle East and North Africa. This championship final serves as a platform to develop young talent and encourage participation in equestrian sports. It also provides an opportunity for riders to compete at an international level and gain experience against skilled competitors from the region.

The UAE riders’ success at the FEI Regional Group VII Final demonstrates the country’s commitment to nurturing young talent and promoting equestrian sports. Winning both individual and team medals in multiple categories not only reflects their skill and training but also enhances the UAE’s global presence in this field. These victories are celebrated as part of the nation’s broader efforts to support sports excellence and showcase the abilities of young athletes on an international stage.

The UAE’s performance at this championship sets a strong precedent for future equestrian competitions. With continued support and training, these young riders are expected to achieve even greater success in upcoming regional and international events. Their accomplishments inspire a new generation of equestrian athletes in the UAE, contributing to the growth of the sport and the nation’s recognition in global competitions.
