Dr Hamad Saif Al Shamsi, UAE Attorney General, welcomed a visiting Russian delegation to discuss ways to activate the protocol linked to the Memorandum of Understanding signed between the UAE Federal Public Prosecution and the Prosecutor General’s Office of Russia. During the meeting in Abu Dhabi, the UAE team shared insights on modern technologies and the role of artificial intelligence in prosecution work, while the Russian team presented their experience in using AI and other modern tools in the Russian Prosecutor General’s Office.

The two sides explored several topics of shared interest, including crime patterns, protecting individual rights, ways to implement the protocol effectively, and plans to strengthen future cooperation. On the second day, the Russian delegation met again with the UAE team to discuss international judicial collaboration and exchange expertise in public prosecution matters.

In addition, the Russian team held a session with the UAE Accountability Authority, where they reviewed joint issues and methods to improve institutional integration, supporting national efforts in investigations and financial monitoring.
