Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi to Launch First Hospital Vertiport

Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, in collaboration with Archer Aviation Inc., announced plans to establish the UAE’s first hospital-based vertiport. This facility will provide direct access for eVTOL (electric vertical takeoff and landing) aircraft to the hospital, significantly reducing travel times compared to conventional ground transport.

Faster Travel for Patients and Organs

The vertiport will support both non-emergency passenger travel and time-sensitive organ transport. Archer’s electric aircraft, Midnight, designed to carry up to four passengers, will operate with low noise and minimal emissions.
