AI Workshop at Dubai Press Club Explores Content Creation

Post by : Bianca Haleem

Recently, the Dubai Press Club hosted a workshop called “Artificial Intelligence… Simplified” as a part of its ongoing Media Workshops series. This event underscored the increasing significance of artificial intelligence in the realms of media and content generation.

Emirati content creator Ebrahim Bolehyool led the session, revealing insights on how he utilizes AI tools to craft visual and awareness-driven content. The event drew participation from various media professionals and budding creators.

Maryam Al Mulla, the Director of Dubai Press Club, emphasized the swift evolution of artificial intelligence, marking it as a critical area of global interest. She noted that the workshop aimed to simplify AI comprehension for media experts and demonstrate its potential to enhance content quality.

Additionally, she reiterated Dubai Press Club's commitment to embracing innovative technologies and fostering collaborative learning between media and tech specialists.

During the workshop, Ebrahim Bolehyool explained generative AI's mechanisms, involving data processing, algorithms, and neural networks. He illustrated how AI can swiftly analyze data, identify patterns, and generate text, imagery, and video content.

Participants were also introduced to well-known AI platforms, such as Google Gemini, OpenAI’s ChatGPT, Anthropic’s Claude, and ElevenLabs. Discussions centered on how these tools assist creators in transforming concepts into captivating multimedia content.

Ebrahim further clarified that AI complements rather than supplants human creativity. He advocated for the fusion of human vision with AI capabilities to yield more impactful and original outcomes.

The event wrapped up by highlighting AI's transformative potential for the media industry and its role in enhancing creator productivity in a rapidly evolving digital environment.
