Abdullah Jassim Al Shamsi, the UAE Ambassador to the Republic of Guinea-Bissau, presented his credentials to Carlos Pinto Pereira, Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation and Communities, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs headquarters in Bissau.
The ceremony marked the official start of Al Shamsi’s tenure and his role in strengthening diplomatic relations between the UAE and Guinea-Bissau.
Conveying Greetings from UAE Leadership
During the meeting, Al Shamsi conveyed the greetings of H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs.
He also expressed his best wishes for progress and prosperity for the government and people of Guinea-Bissau, emphasizing the UAE’s interest in fostering mutual cooperation.
Commitment to Bilateral Relations
The ambassador reaffirmed his pride in representing the UAE and highlighted his commitment to enhancing bilateral relations across multiple sectors, including economic, cultural, and social collaboration.
