Abu Dhabi’s much-awaited Offlimits Music Festival has been postponed due to rising regional tensions linked to the ongoing situation involving the United States, Israel, and Iran.
The festival was originally scheduled for April 4 at Etihad Park on Yas Island. It was set to feature major international artists including Shakira and Jonas Brothers as headliners. Other performers such as Ne-Yo and Biffy Clyro were also part of the lineup.
Organizers have now confirmed that the event will take place on November 21 instead. The decision was made to ensure the safety of attendees, artists, and staff amid the current regional situation.
Ticket holders have been informed that their existing tickets will remain valid for the new date, with no need for rebooking.
This would have marked the second edition of the Offlimits Music Festival, following its successful debut last year, which featured Ed Sheeran as the headline act.
In a related update, a separate concert by Shakira, which was scheduled to be held in Doha on April 1, has also been postponed. Officials cited the same regional concerns while announcing the delay.
