Rock ’n’ roll icons AC/DC are returning to Canada in 2026 as part of their ongoing Power Up tour, with four large stadium dates planned in Edmonton, Vancouver, Montreal and Toronto.
The run begins in Edmonton on August 9, 2026, at Commonwealth Stadium, which holds about 56,400 fans. The appearance marks the band’s first Edmonton show since 2015 and their second since 2009. Heather Seutter, the stadium director, said the event will draw audiences well beyond the city limits.
Next up is a stop at Vancouver’s BC Place on August 13, followed by a string of U.S. dates. AC/DC will return to Canada for a September 12 performance at Montreal’s Parc Jean-Drapeau, a site capable of hosting up to 65,000 attendees and scheduled to host Iron Maiden the week before.
The final Canadian concert is set for September 16, 2026, at Rogers Stadium in downtown Toronto. American rock band The Pretty Reckless will support AC/DC on all Canadian dates.
Tickets for the Canadian shows will be available from Ticketmaster starting Friday at 10 a.m. local time.
With sales exceeding 200 million records worldwide, AC/DC remain among rock’s best-selling acts. Formed in Sydney in 1973, the group rose to fame with albums such as Highway to Hell (1979) and Back in Black (1980), known for high-voltage performances and Angus Young’s signature guitar work.
Despite personnel changes over the years and the 2017 death of co-founder Malcolm Young, the band continues to tour. The Power Up lineup includes Angus Young (lead guitar), Brian Johnson (vocals), Stevie Young (rhythm guitar), Matt Laug (drums) and Chris Chaney (bass).
AC/DC were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2003, reinforcing their longstanding influence on global rock music.
