Bahrain Defence Force Reviews Combat Readiness Levels

Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF), held a meeting with senior military officers in the presence of Lieutenant-General Theyab bin Saqr Al Nuaimi, Chief of Staff.

During the meeting, the Commander-in-Chief received a comprehensive briefing on the combat readiness and operational preparedness of all Bahrain Defence Force services and units. The review focused on the military’s ability to maintain high levels of readiness and effectively carry out its national defense responsibilities.

Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa highlighted that the Bahrain Defence Force continues to strengthen its capabilities through ongoing development and modernization initiatives. He said these efforts are supported by the patronage of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and the continuous follow-up of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and Prime Minister.

He noted that the BDF has implemented comprehensive preparation plans and advanced training programs aimed at improving operational performance across all branches of the military. The force also continues to enhance its defense capabilities through the acquisition of modern weapons systems and advanced military technologies.

According to the Commander-in-Chief, these efforts have helped maintain high levels of operational efficiency and combat readiness, enabling the Bahrain Defence Force to safeguard the Kingdom, protect national achievements, and support the country’s continued development and security objectives.
