The Kingdom of Bahrain has announced that its air defence systems have successfully intercepted and destroyed 147 missiles and 282 drones targeting its territory since the start of the Iranian aggression.
In an official statement carried by the Bahrain News Agency (BNA), the General Command of the Bahrain Defence Force confirmed that these attacks were aimed at civilian areas and private property.
The statement strongly condemned the use of ballistic missiles and drones, calling such actions a clear violation of international humanitarian law and the United Nations Charter.
Bahrain also said that these repeated and indiscriminate attacks pose a serious threat to regional peace and security. The defence forces remain on high alert to protect the country and its people from further threats.
