His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, who is the Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, has arrived in the Republic of Serbia. The purpose of this official visit is to strengthen cooperation between Bahrain and Serbia, focusing on important areas such as economy, trade, investment, and defense.
Warm Welcome At Belgrade Airport
When Shaikh Nasser landed at Belgrade International Airport, he was warmly welcomed by Marko Đurić, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Serbia. Also present at the reception was Ahmed Abdulrahman Al Saati, the Ambassador of Bahrain to Serbia, who is also Bahrain’s ambassador to the Russian Federation. This warm reception reflects the importance Serbia attaches to strengthening relations with Bahrain.
Purpose Of The Visit
The visit by Shaikh Nasser highlights Bahrain’s growing interest in building stronger relations with European countries. Both Bahrain and Serbia aim to explore new opportunities in various fields such as commerce, infrastructure, technology, defense, and investments.
