Bahrain’s Shaikh Nasser Strengthens Cooperation With Serbia

Post by : Mariam Al-Faris

His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, who is the Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, has arrived in the Republic of Serbia. The purpose of this official visit is to strengthen cooperation between Bahrain and Serbia, focusing on important areas such as economy, trade, investment, and defense.

Warm Welcome At Belgrade Airport

When Shaikh Nasser landed at Belgrade International Airport, he was warmly welcomed by Marko Đurić, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Serbia. Also present at the reception was Ahmed Abdulrahman Al Saati, the Ambassador of Bahrain to Serbia, who is also Bahrain’s ambassador to the Russian Federation. This warm reception reflects the importance Serbia attaches to strengthening relations with Bahrain.

Purpose Of The Visit

The visit by Shaikh Nasser highlights Bahrain’s growing interest in building stronger relations with European countries. Both Bahrain and Serbia aim to explore new opportunities in various fields such as commerce, infrastructure, technology, defense, and investments. This move is expected to bring mutual benefits and create stronger partnerships.

Leadership’s Vision

This visit is part of Bahrain’s broader policy led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. With the support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, Bahrain continues to expand its diplomatic and economic relations. The leadership wants to ensure that Bahrain becomes an active and trusted partner with European nations like Serbia.

Expanding Bilateral Cooperation

By focusing on key areas such as economic projects, commercial exchange, and defense collaboration, Bahrain and Serbia are laying the groundwork for future partnerships. The visit will likely pave the way for new agreements, joint ventures, and knowledge sharing that can contribute to both nations’ progress.
