Baseer Ali Says He Felt Hurt by Nehal Chudasama, Will Keep Distance

Bigg Boss seasons often produce alliances, disputes and emotional moments — and Bigg Boss 19 was no different. One relationship that drew attention inside the house was between actor Baseer Ali and model Nehal Chudasama. After their recent eviction, that rapport appears to have frayed.

In a new interview, Kundali Bhagya actor Baseer Ali said he felt let down after watching clips of Nehal making unfavourable remarks about him behind his back. He indicated he now intends to put space between them.

“I have come across a few clips of Nehal where, even though she called herself my friend, she didn’t stand up for me. There were times when Farhana (Bhatt), who was also close to me, said unpleasant things and Nehal stayed quiet,” Baseer said.

He described the comments as a betrayal and expressed his disappointment.

“Toh yeh dono (Nehal and Farhana) jab mere friends the aur mere peeth peechhe aisi baatein kar rahe the, toh yeh kahe ki dosti hai? Toh dono se mein thoda upset hoon... but Nehal se abhi mein thoda gussa hoon, toh I want to take my time and maintain distance,” he added.

Baseer also spoke about how his mother viewed his interactions with Nehal and fellow contestant Farhana Bhatt while they were in the house.

He explained,

“It’s not that my mother dislikes Farhana or Nehal. She has actually said positive things about both. What bothered her was seeing me tied into those so-called 'angles' with them.”

According to Baseer, his mother enjoyed the light-hearted moments with Farhana but was uncomfortable with how his relationship with Nehal was portrayed.

“My mom said she didn’t like how I was repeatedly linked with Farhana. She found our moments fun, but the angle with Nehal felt negative to her and she didn’t enjoy that,” he said.

After their eviction, viewers noted that Baseer and Nehal had unfollowed each other on Instagram, prompting speculation about a rift. The situation intensified when Nehal reshared a fan-page post critical of Baseer, adding fuel to the rumours.

Though the two previously shared moments of laughter, support and camaraderie inside the Bigg Boss house, Baseer’s remarks indicate the friendship may be strained.

He stressed he needs time to process events and prefers to keep his distance for now, leaving fans to wonder whether the pair will reconcile.

Baseer Ali, known for his work on Kundali Bhagya and appearances on Roadies and Splitsvilla, entered Bigg Boss 19 with a solid fan following. Nehal Chudasama, a model and former Miss Diva Universe 2018, also attracted attention for her confident presence in the house.
