BRIDGE Summit 2025 has opened in Abu Dhabi as a global platform for leaders in media, sports, entertainment, and digital content. The summit focuses on shaping the future of creative industries and their role in sustainable economic growth. It comes at a time when technology like artificial intelligence, virtual reality, and digital platforms is changing how audiences engage with media, especially in sports. Esports is also emerging as a major economic contributor worldwide.

The summit features renowned personalities, including famous football-transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano, highlighting the growing influence of sports media. Experts such as Arsène Wenger, FIFA’s Chief of Global Football Development, and former Spanish footballer Gerard Piqué are sharing insights on sports innovation and digital content opportunities.

ChinaJoy, Asia’s largest gaming exhibition, is making its first appearance outside East Asia at BRIDGE 2025, showcasing 19 global developers with exclusive releases, innovative platforms, and international opportunities. Discussions focus on competitive gaming, business models, and a sector valued at over $200 billion, involving game developers, investors, and content creators.

The summit also explores advanced technologies in media, including AI-enabled analytics, sports broadcasting innovations, digital rights, fan-driven content, and interactive platforms. These sessions aim to boost commercial potential and strengthen the global impact of creative industries.

Spanning over 1.65 million square feet, BRIDGE 2025 includes seven thematic tracks covering media, technology, music, marketing, esports, and content creation. Over 60,000 participants from 132 countries, 430 speakers, 1,200 executives, and more than 300 exhibitors are attending. With 300+ sessions and workshops, the summit provides opportunities for collaboration, investment, and knowledge exchange, reinforcing Abu Dhabi as a key hub for the global creative economy.
