The Integrated Transport Centre, also known as Abu Dhabi Mobility and affiliated with the Department of Municipalities and Transport, has launched the charitable Most Noble Number online auction in partnership with Emirates Auction. The initiative aims to raise funds for major humanitarian campaigns, including the Mother of the Nation Endowment for Orphans and the Edge of Life campaign to Save 5 Million Children from Hunger. The online auction will run until 9 March 2026.
The auction offers members of the public the opportunity to bid on a wide range of distinctive vehicle plate numbers through the official Emirates Auction website and mobile application. Participants can place bids electronically throughout the auction period, following an approved and transparent bidding mechanism. Proceeds raised from the auction will be directed to support both humanitarian initiatives.
A total of 555 distinctive plates are available in the auction. These include a selection of highly sought-after vehicle plate numbers such as 11 (Category 21), 23 (Category 2), and 50 (Category 1), along with motorcycle plate number 55 (Category 1). The collection also features a unique range of classic vehicle plates, attracting collectors and enthusiasts seeking rare registration numbers.
Emirates Auction is taking part in the initiative for the fifth consecutive year as a strategic partner. The company said its participation reflects a continued commitment to corporate social responsibility and to supporting humanitarian initiatives championed by the UAE leadership. Over the years, the charity auction has evolved into a major community-driven effort that mobilises resources for humanitarian causes both locally and internationally.
Funds raised through the auction will support the Mother of the Nation Endowment for Orphans, an initiative launched by the Endowments and Minors’ Funds Authority – Awqaf Abu Dhabi under the patronage of Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates. The initiative aims to establish sustainable financial resources dedicated to supporting and empowering orphans while ensuring a stable future for them.
The auction will also contribute to the Edge of Life campaign to Save 5 Million Children from Hunger, launched by Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai. Announced during the holy month of Ramadan, the campaign seeks to raise at least AED1 billion to invest in projects aimed at combating childhood hunger worldwide.
Mohamed Ali Al Shorafa, Chairman of the Department of Municipalities and Transport, said the Most Noble Number auction has become an important platform that enables the UAE community to actively participate in humanitarian initiatives. He noted that the auction’s continued growth highlights the values of generosity and social responsibility deeply rooted in UAE society, while demonstrating the community’s strong support for charitable causes at both national and global levels.
Meanwhile, Dr. Abdulla Hamad AlGhfeli, Acting Director General of the Integrated Transport Centre, said the auction reflects the organisation’s commitment to aligning community initiatives with national priorities in support of humanitarian work. He added that supporting projects that create sustainable and long-term social impact remains a key objective, particularly those that provide vital assistance to orphans and help address child hunger globally.
Abdulla Matar Al Mannaei, Chairman and Managing Director of Emirates Auction, highlighted the importance of the strategic partnership with the Integrated Transport Centre in organising the charity auction. He said the initiative demonstrates how distinctive number auctions can play a meaningful role in supporting humanitarian causes while delivering lasting community impact.
Al Mannaei added that Emirates Auction is leveraging its digital platforms and auction management expertise to ensure a transparent and efficient bidding process that builds confidence among participants. He also emphasised the company’s aim to expand the reach of support for the two humanitarian campaigns while maintaining the highest technical standards.
The Most Noble Number auction has consistently delivered strong results in previous years. In 2025, the initiative raised AED83.78 million in support of the Fathers’ Endowment campaign. In 2024, it generated more than AED78.3 million for the Mothers’ Endowment initiative, while in 2023 it raised approximately AED71 million for the 1 Billion Meals Endowment campaign.
Organisers expect strong participation from across the community, reflecting the UAE’s long-standing tradition of solidarity and its commitment to supporting humanitarian efforts that improve lives around the world.
